Note When  Nakai  (1917)  published  A.  monophyllum,  he  distinguished  two  forms  within  the  species,  i.e.,  f.  integra  and  f.  serrulata,  but  did  not  mention  what  is  the  type,  i.e.,  f.  typicum.    Since  he  quoted  specimens  of  both  forms  and  not  of  the  species,  the  lectotype  should  be  chosen  from  those  specimens.
This  specimen  was  chosen  by  Nakai  (1937)  as  the  lectotype  of  Arisaema  monophyllum  Nakai  f.  serrulata  Nakai.
